hey guyz!
sorry for taking so long!
Finally i’ve recently tried s.th that I always wanted to do!
We went climbing!!
On Friday me,my family,my uncle and his family,who live in Ematen(near Kalkelia) , went to a green nice place called Khalit Khatab,we took our food with us which was actually Makloba,Salad ,yogurt… ; ) and everything we needed!
My uncle works as a builder,he is really talented! and he got a “Taraktor” -kind of vehicles- anyway,i have never tried being on one! but finally i did!!
It was so funny!!you can’t go fast!you start screaming to go faster but it never does!!hhhhhhh….hillarious!!And because we all wanted to try the ride,my uncle joined kind of another vehicle to it!and we all sat and started laughing again!
Anyway,we ate at Khalit Khatab and finally went climbing!
We walked so long until we reached a place called Fkass! There was “bedwin”
According to what I saw , thier way of life is improving! They have T.Vs , cars , and actually somehow electrisity!,,and of course sheeps,hourses,dogs…and so on
We continued walking to our distination,at first,when I saw the mountains,I said,”there is no way in hell to reach the top!” but i did!! : P
I was so excited for such a challenge ! while we were climbing, my sister fell,we laughed so much as i said! My father was the most athlete man, mashallah : P , we raced , and he actually passed me !!! honestly, I suffered from muscles spasm after we went back home for a whole day!!
Anyway..near the top we found old ruined houses almost barried under the ground!some of them contains wells!,they were really cool!
unfortunately,some of them were so far,on the other side of the mountain! but my aunt told me “ in some of them were water falls! ” i was dying to see them but it got darker and colder before we could notice! : s ,, so the adults told us to stop and to go back down!
It’s ok, i had the fun , reached the top,whatched the mervelous sunset-astually the moon and the sun met in one sky!the moon was a full circle,the sun was fire reddish yellowish- , it was amazing to see such a view , i had the honor to be where my ancestors had been , i practised one of the things that i always admired and i will always do!
There is n.th better than a sunny day in winter to visit such places!NO INSECTS!!!LOL!!!
We went back to Ematen to rest for an hour,then we went back to Nablus,to finish my perfect day by a warm cup of tea, and a soft warm house with the family that I LOVE!
Wow, I missed this entry. This sounds like such a wonderful day Rawan! I hope one day when I return to Nablus you can take me here:)
I also hate insects so maybe I should come back in the winter hehe.
