THE UNIVERSITY TRIP!!!!

This trip was one of my best trips,because it was at the best time that it could be! It was on the 4th of July , 2009 on Saturday , in the middle of the summer holiday , after my father told me the worst news ever..that we wont travel on that holiday out of Palestine : ( !!

Anyway,my sister Reham-who is studying medicine- told me about her trip , I was carried away , so she decided to take me with here. I’m not gonna lie , I liked the idea , because I wanted to meet her new friends . I used to know all of her friends at school and I wanted to do the same at the university, to keep being close to each other ; ) . Anyway, the trip included visiting Hebron and Ramallah.

We were 25 persons, we had a big buss with a stupid driver who got lost many times through our way! and started our trip.

First,we went to Hebron-the leather producer-.On the way, i met remoz friends and a girl called Masa from Tulkarem.She is a sister of Remoz friend at the same age of me : D. We got along quickly and talked all the way to Hebron.

The problem started when we reached Zaatara checkpoint.The Israelis stopped the buss to check the IDs. They asked 3 boys to step down the buss.We waited for about 15 minutes,then they sent them free in a condition to come back after a week-and they came back!-…We continued our way to Hebron for about 3 or 4 hours.

At Hebron,we first visited Al-Haram Al-Ibrahemi,which was completely under the Israelis control.We stepped out of the buss to walk through 3 different checkpoints!..It was such a marvelous mosque.There was the foot print of prophet Mohammad’s foot,makam prophet Ibrahim-a related place to him where he used to spend time- and other religious sites.

In the mosque,girls had to wear an outfit-in the respect of this marvelous religious mosque-, we laughed , prayed, and had a beautiful time.

Then,we went to ‘ The Caves Resort ‘.

It was very big,cool,with nice caves. At that time , we all were starving although we ate snacks on the way. We started preparing for the barbecue.Boys started the fire while girls prepared the meat.Me and other girls wanted to help but there was no space,so we sat and started mocking at at them while they were working ; P. Then we went on a tour in the resort.

One on the boys who was from Hebron ,  wanted to make arjela(sheesha) but he lost the head of it, so he made one from an apple and luckily it worked

The food was ready at about 4:00pm , we ate in a special cool cave for us only which was decorated well.

The best shocking thing was the meat!it was delicious!! When we finished , we sat in a tent and started chatting.We laughed a lot. Khaire-one of the boys who were in the trip-tool my Doritos-chips- dog pictures which I was collecting for a long time and gave everyone a picture that represents him\herself. I had the cutest white dog, because he knew if he gave me an ugly one,he’ll be in a big trouble! ; )….lol

There was an argument about staying at Hebron and going to the mall or to leave and go to Ramallah to the funfair. I wanted to stay so that i can go shopping and because I didn’t want to spend a lot of time on the road! But more people agreed to go to Ramallah and we did!

On our way.we played Bingo and a guessing game,it was so much fun,you have 10 questions to ask to know a certain person on our minds.Once we sat a trick,we didn’t put anyone in our minds,so he was asking and asking…but the questions were all useless…lol

We reached Ramallah with so much music and fun at 8:30 pm. We reached the funfair(Mikhmas Funfair),we played the scissors game at first,which completes 360 digrees and it hangs us upside-down for few seconds.It was the best,I sat near Reham and we held on very tight and started screaming together.I couldn’t feel my arms when we finished! Then we played crushing cars, bought pop-corn  and returned back to the buss.It started moving at 10:00pm

In the way back to Nablus , we all were very sleepy and tired , so we all sat silently.We arrived Nablus at 11:15 pm.

P.S..This trip was a gift from my sister because I had high marks at 10th grade and she bought me cocktail the day before and sunglasses ; )

So that was one of the best trips with my best sister Remoz(BUT DON”T TELL HER THAT,,,LOL!!!)
